Sailing Experience: Hello, I'm coming to nantucket to visit family, and would like to do a race or 2. I'll be in town aug 8-16 (leaving sunday morning).
I'm 51 years old, abled bodied, crew on a 34' dufor (pit, jib/main trim) and sometimes bow, 5+ yrs, also crewed on varrious BBYRA boats (local club races). have asa 101-103, taught at shake-a-leg (miami), and currenly own 26' trailer sailor. been sailing since age 10, on opti's laser, lighting, boardsailors, and hobies, plus R/C's.
We won the march 09 miami-key largo race this year, -I flew the shute for 4+ hrs, then trimmed main, and we won by 18 seconds (bad start!). lol!
anyway, give me a call, or send an email if you could use some crew.
BUT, I can not race sunday 8/16.
