Wood/Sails/Dreams

A cinematic journey into the soul of wooden boats

Please join us this week to see a free 30-minute sneak peek of a new film by John Stanton and Dan Driscoll. Shot on location in Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, Bristol, and Brooklin Maine. Wood/Sails/Dreams is an exploration into the resurgence of wooden sailboats that began in the early 19670s and the passion that fueled it. It is about saving American marine history, practicing the craft of traditional ship building, and reveling in the wind in your sails. Filmmaker John Stanton will be present for a Q&A after the screenings.
